Founder Karl Boroski saw a need to bridge the gap of services provided to the homeless on the weekends by providing food. he was joined by friends taking food to the homeless out of the back of his truck. Founder Karl Boroski saw a need to bridge the gap of services provided to the homeless on the weekends by providing food. he was joined by friends taking food to the homeless out of the back of his truck. After getting to know most of the chronically homeless Karl and his friends started raising money for sleeping bags, tents, tarps and basic living items. to give out. one day Karl and his friend Jake Smith were talking to one of the homeless friends they serve, and the friend mentioned he hadn't had a shower in three months. they decided to raise the money for a shower and it has been well received in the community.
